For Isolation Stacks the two of us investigated our quarantine environment and made a selection of objects that we found interesting and curious. Our intention was to work together seeking new shape and color combinations to create unexpected sculptural forms. The final image is a still-life of a sculptural family conceived to blur and transform familiar items into unknown and loosely recognizable objects. We view this exercise as an opportunity to connect with the items we live with and remind ourselves that we have the ability to affect our environment.
